John Wholey

John Wholey, executive vice president of operations, joined Thryv from hibu, where he served as the head of U.S. operations. John was responsible for all operational aspects of the business from order capture thru production/fulfillment, publishing, distribution, customer service and sales support for all print and digital product offerings. He delivered significant cost savings and a significant reduction in overall operations cost as a percentage of top line revenue for the company. Prior to that role, John served in the roles of vice president/head of contact centers in the U.S. and U.K. as well as vice president – publishing operations for hibu and its predecessor, Yellowbook. He has extensive experience in the search industry, including work with Bell Atlantic and White Directory Publishers. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Massachusetts and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
