Jon Merifield

I started my career as a professional teacher, with a Bachelor of Education and Teacher’s Certificate. Later, I worked for UHN at Toronto General Hospital as an eLearning and Instructional Design Specialist. I received Lean 5s Training, took a Practical Project Management course, and got the Caring Safely Award for my role in delivering that program. I currently work as Design Manager at RBC. My work consists mostly of designing and maintaining various kinds of learning programs, while remaining fluent in a wide variety of software tools and staying in constant communication with my business partners to deliver the best learning experience possible. When managing a project, I organize time efficiently to meet deliverables, keep partners and Senior Managers up to date on my progress, and participate in various project meetings with all stakeholders, and work with Agility when possible.
