I'm a dynamic, approachable individual with 12 years' practical use of the Prince 2 methodology; I thrive on the 'uncertainty' of Client-facing roles and technology complexity. I maintain a personal, hands on approach and always have the Project goals in sight by leading from the front and by demonstrating commitment to fully explore 'what's possible...?' throughout the lifecycle. I build teams and nurture individuals to ensure they operate at their full potential, with recent experience of working with differing cultures and across time zones. I have experience of running 9 concurrent projects, together with experience of Project recovery to tight deadlines; I understand the need to put change management at the heart of Project activity as the means for effective delivery. I'm skilled in Risk / Opportunity / Depencency management, having worked in organisations where relationships are complex and resources are at a premium; I've managed portfolio costs to £4.5m and performed resource planning and scheduling on every project I've delivered, while ensuring governance is strictly maintained to ensure quality and timely delivery to budget. I've successfully practised Project Management methods and techniques from the perspectives of Technical Consultant, Support Engineer, 3rd Party Vendor and Internal BAU Operations, experiences that enable me to make effective, timely decisions. I'm an advanced user of MS Office, Project and Visio and I thrive in a collborative environment; I have a technical background in Infrastructure and recent experience wotking with DevOps and Business App. Owners to reduce the 'silo' mindset and streamline delivery through to the customer with supported incremental change. I expect to be working in an ever-changing landscape, under pressure, constantly managing conflict - it's the very nature of what the role of a PM entails.
