José Carlos Pujol

José Carlos Pujol is an Electrical Engineer specialized in the areas of signal processing, computer vision, video coding and 3D computer graphics. He joined Tokbox, where is working to improve the experience in videoconference communications using webRTC technology and contributing to the media router. While he was in Telefonica Digital, he contributed in several projects involving real-time video processing for stereoscopic representation, real time 3D reconstruction and its representation and multimedia storage, transmuxing and delivery. He worked as a researcher at the Carlos III University, where he combined his research about H.264 coding with an assistant professor position for computer vision courses. He has several publications and patents published.
