I am an energetic individual who is driven by success. During my twenty years as a New York City Police Officer/Supervisor, I developed a passion to teach and motivate other police officers and trainers. As a supervisor/instructor, I was an integral part of designing, developing, implementing and evaluating the current train-the-trainer course at the New York City Police Department. I have experience in writing effective learning outcomes, developing curriculum, assessing and improving student learning and evaluating course efficiency. While conducting training, I make sure to implement various adult methodologies to maximize student learning. In addition to being involved in training, as a supervisor, I also developed the skill to conduct interviews and developed strong leadership skills. Specialties----experience in Presentation Skills, Communications Skills, PowerPoint Presentations, Interactive learning strategies, Curriculum Development, Disaster Preparedness, Security training, and teaching test taking strategies and techniques in GED (TASC).
