Joseph Brennan

I am a mathematician and an educator. I received my PhD in Mathematics with a focus in Algebra/Group Theory from the University of Florida in 2012 under the guidance of Alexandre Turull. During my time as an educator, I've had the opportunity to impact over 10,000 students from the University of Florida, Binghamton SUNY, and the University of Kansas. In June 2015 I joined the University of Kansas as a Teaching Specialist tasked with directing the Calculus sequence. My duties included redesigning the curriculum and generating course content, coordinating large lecture courses, supervising and training graduate teaching assistant, collecting and analyzing student data, and directing the Calculus sequence (MATH 125, 126, 127). Each semester the Calculus sequence at KU provides services to roughly 1,000 students. In September 2019 I became a permanent resident of Canada and my family relocated to Calgary, Alberta at the end of December 2019. March 2020 I joined Great Minds as a Mathematician.
