Joseph Sciascia

Born and raised by horticultures on the outskirts of Montreal, I developed a passion for problem solving and aesthetics. Studying industrial design for the past 7 years has opened my horizons on design thinking and creative confidence. My design philosophy can be narrowed down into creating a product that is beneficial for all parties throughout its product cycle. I truly believe that a successful product profits both manufacturer/designer and user. User experience is key. As an industrial designer, I think it is extremely important to tackle every project with an open mind depending on its context and most importantly its end user. I am also a strong believer in promoting a clear understanding of a final product/concept. It is my job as an industrial designer to fully understand the difference between something that looks great between something that works great.
