I have always been fascinated by the idea that people are usually as happy as they make their minds up to be. I believe that the more people can stay open to possibilities, the more happiness and fulfillment they can add to their lives and their family’s lives. I view my role as providing the keys needed to unlock these opportunities and help create sustainable success. For nearly 25 years I have been a proud member of the Strategies for Wealth leadership team dedicated to helping our financial professionals continually do the right thing for our clients and our community. My partners and I have worked diligently to create a purpose-driven culture that celebrates the generosity and entrepreneurship of the human spirit. By putting our people first we are able to deliver a supportive environment where people are comfortable sharing everything from knowledge and learnings to obstacles and struggles. I’ve spent much of my career building teams that can effectively harness their complementary skill sets to create more value for our clients. To do so, I empower our exceptional team of financial professionals to create the space to have important client conversations that our clients would not otherwise have. I constantly remind them that the conversations they have today will impact generations of people that they will never have the chance to meet. It is through these open and honest dialogues that we are able to encourage a mindset of possibility, not limitation. I take great pride in overseeing our talent acquisition and human development efforts to help our financial professionals go to places they would never go on their own. As a coach and mentor, I listen carefully and provide honest and caring advice to bring out the best in our teams. Whether I’m in the office or at home, I’m always looking for ways to unlock more happiness. Spending quality time with my wife and children, playing golf, landscaping and travelling never fail to bring me joy.
