Jrey specializes in financial services and capital markets. This includes a good understanding of financial reporting and analysis, equity and portfolio management, fixed income and derivatives, and alternative investments. He is currently a Team Leader (Manager) of UK Financial Reporting (UK FR) - Fund Industry, wherein he practices his financial services specialization and audit background to provide quality service to the stakeholders. Using his strong business acumen, he streamlines and reengineer the process in order to improve how the team functions and meet client and top management demand. He has significant audit background (7 Years) which includes different industries and special projects and group audits, which gave him a good understanding of different business operations and related risks and rewards for these industries. His client ranges from listed to private markets and a range of small to large engagement team. His technical skills include simplifying the technical aspect of the work (using relevant guidance and standards) and provides on the job training to improve overall team performance. He has working knowledge on different accounting standards IFRS, UK GAAP, PFRS and US GAAP and solid understanding of internal controls over different business process (financial reporting and others). Jrey gave significant importance in developing his interpersonal and managerial skills and ensured that he is establishing a good relationship with his stakeholders. He appreciates the value of working in a team to provide quality output and he makes it a point to establish a good working relationship his teammates. His management style focuses on developing and motivating members in order to bring out the best in them which will lead to the overall improvement of the team this includes application of profiling, coaching, providing objective feedback and developing individual training opportunities for each member.
