I am a 'Jill of all trades', Queen of everything. Developing creative solutions with SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform Tools are at the top of the list of my favorite activities. Also high on that list are automating daily tasks with Powershell. Among the myriad other things I do or have done are managing Nintext Workflows, InfoPath forms, wireless accounts, MobileIron, cell phones and creating searches, reports, one-steps and dashboards in Cherwell. My motto: Ask me! If I don't know the answer I know who does and if I don't know who does, I will find out. Look for opportunities to learn something new everyday. I have a rather interesting philosophy on working in I.T.. I see myself as more than just an I.T. Specialist and 2nd/3rd tier support. I also see myself as an advocate for the people I support. We have a unique position in that our mission is to make sure our employees are able to carry out the mandate of the top level decision makers with the least amount of disruptions. This many times goes beyond just 'keeping the lights on', troubleshooting and support. Often we have to use our voice to advocate for common sense changes and configurations aimed at reducing small and large disruptions to the flow of productivity. I am passionate about usability. Usability at the lowest common denominator of who is accessing our 'product' whether it be an internal app, conference rooms in exchange or something we are surfacing to external partners is critical. Without the best usability we can offer, our effort is utterly wasted and our credibility is impacted. I enjoy volunteering in my off time. I volunteer with the local Fire Department's Community risk reduction group. I am C.E.R.T. Certified and volunteer with the local Police department as well.
