Julia Garrigan

In my previous employment I was a Team Leader of up to 45 staff dealing with workloads, statistics & HR issues. I have also been a Front Line Manager at the DWP dealing with Customer Service & managing Front Line Staff. From 2006 to 2022 I worked as a teacher at Academy 360 in Sunderland. I worked with large and small teams for curriculum planning as well as planning, assessing and teaching primary children. My experience has been mostly UKS2, particularly Y5 and Y6, though I have also taught in KS3 and LKS2 in that time. I retired in the summer of 2022 but have registered with a First Class Supply in order to keep up with classroom practice. I also work for Chalkboard Tuition, where I plan and deliver personalised learning to boost grades and confidence in the classroom.
