I’ve been a PACU nurse for six years. In my first year, I was actively involved in our unit Journal Club, while spearheading my own committee to improve our documentation of medications. In my second year, I was elected the chair of our Unit Practice Council, representing our department in hospital-wide meetings with higher-ups. • I interned with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, where I organized a project to improve the drug Health Hazard Evaluation form and process. • I am autonomous, hardworking, and self-motivated.
