Justin Nygren

As the program manager for an emerging Publicly Available Information (PAI)/ Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) exploitation program, I have gained extensive experience with the processes and challenges of creating and implementing a new program. Part of creating a successful program includes constructing a training curriculum to produce high quality analysts who will bring success to the program. I recently led the effort to revamp our current training curriculum, which will increase the analysts knowledge, skill set, and overall capabilities. I was also part of the effort to bring fundemental OSINT training to all the certification programs, providing all Airmen a baseline knowledge of OSINT prinicipals which falls in line with the overarching guidance from the Air Force. Beyond my own unit's PAI/OSINT program, I have also assisted with the establishment and implementation of PAI/OSINT exploitation programs for 14 other command units in various locations around the world, and saved each unit at least six months of development effort. Prior to my position as a program manager, I was an all-source intelligence analyst at the tactical and strategic level. I created intelligenece products used to inform decision and policy makers, as well as provide critical information to US, Allied and Coalition warfighters, and to national defense agencies. These positions required me to be proficient in written and oral communications. I have produced several reports which have been published in the Library of National Intelligence, and I have briefed senior level military, government, and diplomatic personal. Each of these positions offered different challenges, and experiences which have helped me develop my critical thinking, and strategic planning capabilities. I believe my analytical skills, paired with my leadership, teamwork, focus, and dedication, make me a great asset to any team.
