Kara Myers

Most people born and raised in Hawaii never want to leave... and for good reason! But growing up in paradise, on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, had the opposite effect on me. From a very young age, I've been obsessed with travel. I love immersing myself in new cultures, exploring outside of my comfort zone, and meeting people with completely different upbringings. Today, after nearly a decade working in the industry, I can happily say that travel isn't just my life's greatest passion, but it's also my profession. I am an experienced tour leader and travel coordinator with experience working in the US and European markets. Skilled in operations management, tour leader training, and travel planning, I am a quick learner who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Additionally, I pride myself in being a student of the world, having studied at Gonzaga University in Washington, Gonzaga-in-Florence in Italy, and most recently at SOAS in London, where I earned a Distinction in Cultural Studies (MA).
