Company director of M B Learning which was started in 2001. Initially, our aim was to support adult community learning, with a specific focus on improving literacy and numeracy skills, alongside developing soft skills such as confidence building and self-esteem.Over the last ten years, M B Learning has both managed and been a sub contractor for a range of ESF project across Surrey and Hampshire. Our work has developed and is now largely focussed on supporting employability. Our new website at www.mblearning.co.uk reflects our passion for building confidence and potential in others.My front-facing role with MBL is leading on the teaching element of our work; this involves a range of subjects to support employability or develop skills within the workplace and also literacy and numeracy skills up to Level 2. All programmes are built around learner needs and combine 1 to 1 mentoring and group teaching.Additionally, I work with local and national development centres and initiatives to deliver continuing professional development in the lifelong learning sector.
