After 17 years of working for the same company I was ready for a change and Colorado Hi-Tec was ready to grow. After almost 10 years in business, my husband Kevin realized he’d taken the company further than was ever anticipated. He decided he needed help with the business side of the company. I joined the company in 1998 starting with office and basic accounting duties. I soon learned that as a small business owner you have many roles to play. Over the years I’ve developed marketing programs, worked on new technology, assisted with sales and operations. Any small business owner knows you have to learn to be diverse and get outside your comfort zone in order to succeed.
