Karim Limam

I am a Chartered Accountant with over 8 years’ experience in a wide variety of audit work, specialising in performing audits and other assignments for various bodies under the United Nations umbrella, for Directorates and Agencies within the European Commission, the German Corporation for International Development GIZ, the African Development Bank, and for other international donors. I have led several audits in Tunisia, Egypt, Niger, Sudan, Jordan, Bahrain and other countries and has a good knowledge of the EU PRAG as well as the UN financial management rules. As part of being a public sector specialist, I have also performed a number of transparency assignments in the extractive sectors, including preparing EITI reports and reconciling extractive revenues for various African, Asian and Latin American countries.
