As a published writer and engineer, not only am I able to understand complex science and technology topics, but also effectively convey thought to paper. My research paper concerning horizontal wells is a perfect example of this, whereas my young adult novel showcases my creative side. Previous work experience in the financial sector has also given me a good grasp of business and appraisal, honing my skills in various software, creating spreadsheets, analyzing data, speaking with clients, and drafting proposals and Profit & Loss statement (P&Ls). As a field engineer, I was able to apply my knowledge gained at school in a practical setting. At Schlumberger, I was lucky to experience both the operations and sales side of the job. This involved not only designing, quoting, and proposing Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs) to clients, but also going to the field and installing them.Currently I work as an analyst for Innopiphany, a healthcare consulting company. We focus on providing the best help to our clients to improve or change their processes and thus increase effectiveness and profitability.
