Kate Craib

Over the past twenty five years I have been employed in a range of operational and strategic roles that support people’s wellbeing, behaviour, mental health and safety. Central to my success in these roles are my personal moral qualities of humility, respect, integrity, inclusiveness and emotional resilience, which I have demonstrated in every role that I have undertaken. I am also a firm believer that promoting the mental health and wellbeing of people is of vital importance if we want to have a productive population and communities that are enjoying and achieving in life. I have been a spokesperson at local and national level, an expert witness on local government select committee reviews. I have trained thousands of staff across Kent and I have been an adviser to local and national government on best practice and policy. I am a private counsellor, a counselling tutor and a mental health coordinator and through my teaching, training and practice, I hope to inspire a world where we listen more and judge less.
