Kate Hill

A driven social worker, embarking on my seventh year as a practitioner. Undertaking the first years of my career in vastly different areas within Health, I have gained a wide range of practice experience which I have armed myself with as I continue to work in Mental Health, specifically Child and Youth Mental Health. I have above average communication skills and am easily adaptable as circumstances change. I have a finger on the pulse in regards to political, systematic and professional change occurring, and I feel that despite my age I have a lot to add to the Social Work profession. I look forward to doing this, and making my mark as I try my hand at many areas of Social Work practice. I have an interest in developing my leadership and management skills, seeking to pursue this further as my career develops. To supplement my social worker career, I am also pursuing my love for Yoga. Currently completing my Yoga teacher training. I am hopeful for a time I can combine my two passions together.
