There may be times in a child's life when they display behavioural issues that alert the adults around them that something is not right. These patterns of behaviour can cause problems to their lives and disruption to the lives of those around them. In turn, it can affect the child's development, emotional well-being, relationships and education. They may struggle to cope with their emotions, showing signs of anxiety, anger or even fear. This is where counselling and play therapy can help. It gives them an opportunity to express themselves in their own way, to work through their feelings and to try and process and understand what is going on. I will provide a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space for them to do that and I will walk beside them on their journey, helping them make sense of it along the way.
