Katelyn Stillitano

I have teaching experience in all subject areas and multiple grade levels with strengths in differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all my students. I also have experience and am comfortable working with diverse student populations, having taught in urban and suburban environments. Throughout my teaching experiences, I encouraged students to make connections between the content being taught and real problems thus enabling them to become more responsible members of their community. I have effective classroom management skills through the clear articulation of expectations and positive peer interactions, which allow my students to learn in an open, safe, and supportive environment. In addition to my teaching experience, I am skilled, empathetic, insightful and dedicated to providing exceptional client care. I have experience diagnosing and implementing effective treatment plans for individuals and groups as it pertains to speech and language. Throughout my clinical rotations I implemented therapy with individuals ranging from (Pre-K to High School) and have sufficient experience working with the autism population. I have effective communicating skills and advocate the ability to manage all personality types, proactively resolve issues and meet challenging goals and expectations.
