Katheline Santos

As a licensed (K-12) School Counselor I have made it my goal to seek the most significant educational, practical, and professional experiences to prepare for all counseling responsibilities. Most of my experiences are in education, from higher education to K-12 education. I have instructed, advised, mentored, coached, and supported hundreds of students from diverse backgrounds and all age groups. This past year I interned with Bay Village High School & previously North Olmsted Middle School, institutions that have significantly prepared me to provide students with brief mental health counseling, social/emotional support, individual student planning, crisis planning, and a wealth of other practices, knowledge and skills. My higher education experiences will too enrich any work environment I am exposed to. I’d like to share that my passion lies in school counseling since it is a profession that places me in a unique role to promote the domains of social/emotional, academic, and career development and success for all students. As an educator and mental health provider, I value education, and I feel compelled to support students every step of the way, while addressing any barriers to their success.
