Katherine Yamamoto

I am an experienced researcher, writer and communications professional. I recently completed my Master of Professional Communication at Ryerson University in Toronto, ON. My main interests are Non-Profit Communications, Development and Journalism, and I have previous experience in the fields of social media data analysis, event planning, strategic communications, digital media production and news reporting. I was actively involved in student life at Carleton through volunteer executive positions with Carleton University Debate and Speech and as a student reporter for the Charlatan. I've remained committed to community service through volunteer work and by taking steps to further my understanding of vital issues such as poverty, housing and community building. I am currently open to new opportunities in the field of communications and marketing, in the non-profit, government and healthcare sectors.
