Kathleen Savarese

Kathleen Savarese joined the Simons Foundation in 2013 to establish and implement human resources strategies and programs that support the foundation’s mission, goals and culture. In addition to managing new strategies, she oversees all human resources-related activities and provides comprehensive staff support. Prior to joining the foundation, Savarese worked as an executive director of organizational development at the College Board, where she led a team in the design and implementation of organization-wide programs to support the development of staff at all levels. Previously, Savarese was a director of Pfizer, where she was responsible for staff development, succession planning and competencies modeling. She holds a B.S. in psychology and business management from Iona College and an M.A. in organizational psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
