Selected Achievements: • Successfully introducing customer focus into a division of a very inward-looking company (Balfour Beatty), merging six divisions into three, and changing talent management from nepotism to competence. • Implementing a new leadership model to support AWE in transforming its business infrastructure and to address capability and succession shortfalls. • Leading and implementing a new global operating model for sales and logistics into a technology company. • Turning around Eastern Electricity Contracting from a £6m p/a loss to a £1m p/a profit by releasing 10% of the staff, introducing a customer facing culture that survived and negotiating new ways of working with three unions. • Delivering several digitisation programmes successfully with proper governance on time and to budget including for AWE and Balfour Beatty. • Supporting the creation of AVIVA by managing the post-acquisition integrations of its Group functions and direct insurance business.
