Kathryn Tighe

As a young professional with nearly 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, I have a strong interest in promoting organizational improvement. Whether I may be collaborating with managers to execute CI projects or analyzing current production trends, I always believe that improvements can be made. As a Facility Support Specialist for the Grande Cheese Company, I am actively analyzing production reports, internal processes, and associate concerns to promote organizational development. While I take great pride in my ability to recognize and resolve facility related concerns, I take greater pride in my ability to communicate effectively on all levels. As a graduate of communication from Lakeland University, I have developed key skills that are crucial for effective internal and external communication. More importantly my education from Lakeland and my experience in manufacturing has taught me the importance of celebrating individual diversity. In my opinion great minds do not think alike. Without the recognition of different ideas and backgrounds, no manufacturing environment could ever be successful.
