Kathy Raffa

I've proudly served the nonprofit sector my entire career, first at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC), then as President of Raffa, P.C. And now at Marcum LLP. We launched Raffa in 1984 and grew the firm into one of the 100 largest accounting firms in the U.S. Without ever changing our mission statement: To be a catalyst for positive, systemic change in our community. We had 300 employees prior to our merger with Marcum LLP in October 2018. I am excited to expand our nonprofit and social sector practice nationally with Marcum. I'm proud that were the only firm among the top 100 largest accounting firms in the U.S. That was women owned. We had 11 women partners in a firm with 17 partners and a workforce made up of more than 65% women. And we continue to have a wonderful culturally diverse environment, from the partners to the staff. I've enjoyed serving on a number of boards that focus on positive impact in our community, in the arts, education and challenges and opportunities facing our city.
