I have worked in retail for twenty years, the last 13 years as a Senior Store Manager for tReds Torquay where I not only run my store but am a mentor to new management within the company. During my time as retail manager at tReds, I have successfully implemented new initiatives with stock and store layouts that have enhanced the customer experience, aswell as developing a new staff training scheme that increased staff retention and overall store turnover. I have also completed 4 NVQ qualifications, including customer service, through Focus Training and completed my NVQ Level 5 (post graduate equivalent) in Management & Leadership where I am specialised in recruitment, training and customer service.I am an honest, hands-on, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who develops a good rapport with my staff / team and a working environment that is sales and customer focused. The result in sales growth at this store is testament to my management skills and business acumen. I am a dynamic team player and pride myself on my exemplary communication skills.Through my years in retail I have learnt valuable selling skills that I pride myself on. I believe a good team that is trained well and works well together leads to a profitable store. I am looking for a new position that will challenge me to my full potential and further myself in my career. The skills that I have developed over the years are fully transferable to any type of Management department which I can prove though my performance and practices. My past experience includes, management, administration, staff training and development, in and out bound communications, merchandising, sales, customer service, marketing, selling credit, and more.
