In my current role as a Junior Project Manager for Institutional Investor Research, I assist in the development of annual rankings of the best sell-side researchers across the globe. My prior experience working in a highly visible, highly regulated industry like local government strengthened my ability to build key relationships with diverse stakeholders and prioritize initiatives with competing deadlines. As a Special Projects Coordinator with the New York City Department of Transportation, I monitored Key Performance Indicators for operational groups, such as in bi-weekly reports tracking operational groups’ ability to resolve cases and identify areas of improvement. In my time at the Portland Bureau of Transportation, I coordinated constituent response for our annual Leaf Day programming, drafting emails and press releases while coordinating with elected officials and community groups to get the message out. I have ample experience in statistical modeling, particularly using Excel and Stata 15 to interpret large data sets and verify the validity of results. For my undergraduate Economics thesis at Reed College, I modeled the economic impact of the MERCOSUR trading pact on migration to Brazil from 1990 to 2010, finding that the trade pact lowered the barriers to migration. In June, 2021, I completed my graduate certificate in Sustainability at Portland State University, where I gained experience in project management and data analytics, such as in my case study of how access to different types of urban green space is influenced by socioeconomic class.
