Katja Ribbers

After I finished my master's degree in environmental sciences, I started working as a consultant in 2016. My responsibilities comprise the performance of environmental risk assessments (ERA) for biocidal active substances/products/product families, including relevant metabolites. Over the years, I have worked on nearly every product type. Within the scope of the ERA, I use EUSES, SimpleTreat and FOCUS PEARL and evaluate e.g. Leaching data. Of course, compiling all relevant information in the respective dossier templates (dPAR, dRAR/dCAR) is part of my work. As a consultant, I support the dossiers from the preparatory phase to the defence, including commenting phase and working group meetings. Besides my main activities in the environmental field, I also act as project manager and am thus experienced in contact with clients and authorities and in using IUCLID, SPC and R4BP. Acting as a focal point, I have also worked on the topics of article 95 listing and technical equivalence.
