I have over 15 years’ of extensive administrative experience ranging from general admin duties and accounting through to cost control and budget forecasting. I have performed these roles for individual projects over the past 8 years’ in the construction of Substation and Overhead Lines projects where I have gained a vast range of experience and knowledge starting from the tender process, design phase, construction phase through to the practical completion over various types of electrical construction projects. While assisting in the management and delivery of these projects I have been responsible for managing external contractors in several different trades and various types of hire equipment, this has included; project scopes briefs, tender and selection of contractors and hire equipment, estimates against budget, assessing project claims and variations, safety performance, set up of the site facilities for the construction sites and providing the quality documentation and control of all site records. During my employment I have gained a sound working knowledge of the current Standards and company policies relevant to the Supply Industry while also having a general understanding of Contract Law, State Purchasing Policy and Trade Practices Act. Putting this into action by assisting the Project Manager and delivery team in applying the correct company standards and policies for safe work practices and zero harm project statistics. I have a strong commitment to health and safety and the safety improvements both on a construction site and within the office environment; I personally have never been involved in any incidents. Being responsible for the management of the day to day operations, I manage building maintenance, office supplies and co-ordinate the business unit group functions. Accountable for the field employees; I ensure correct project time confirmations and employee pay variations in accordance with the current EBA.
