EXPERIENCE: After 38 years of pricing, reserving and research experience as a Property and Casualty Actuary, I retired at the end of March 2014. Most of my career has been in automobile insurance, but also had deep workers compensation, homeowners and travel insurance experience. As part of a managment development program at GEICO, worked as a claims supervisor, an underwriting supervisor and a budget department supervisor (total of 2 1/2 years). Taught High School and University Math Classes and Masters Degree Level Statistics. Coaching, Training, Leadership and Public Speaking experience in numerous venues, including 30 years with Toastmasters. I'm the proud first place winner in a 2013 Ventura County short story contest.
