As a certified Marketing Practitioner (MPSA) with over 8 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with some amazing teams, from starting as an IT Technician in 2009 to becoming the Internal Communication Manager for Standard Bank Group. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in innovation and project management, internal brand management, strategic marketing, and design. One of my proudest achievements is being part of the team that launched Standard Bank's People Promise (Employee Value proposition) in 2020 and leading the communication strategy for the project that saw Standard Bank launch a modernised SAP Self Service in 2021 going into 2022. As the Internal Communication Manager, I was responsible for delivering impactful communications and projects that mattered, helping to make the dreams of our people possible. Our People Promise project (Employee Value Proposition) was later nominated for the 2021 Rad Awards under the Employer Brand International category, which speaks to its effectiveness in connecting with our people. I'm also proud to have won several awards, including the 2017 Standard Bank Group Marketing and Communication Mark of Excellence individual award, the 2020 Standard Bank People and Culture Mark of Excellence team award, and being part of the team that won the 2022 Standard Bank Brand and Marketing Ubora award for excellence in the Employee Experience category. These awards recognise my dedication to my work and my commitment to going above and beyond to achieve success. I consider myself a T-Shaped Marketer, with skills in design using tools such as Adobe InDesign, DreamWeaver (HTML), Photoshop, Illustrator, and experience in Content and Email Marketing (Striata and SalesForce Marketing Cloud) and Social (Yammer). I am a certified Marketing Practitioner with the Marketing Association of South Africa and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
