Trained as a draughtsman, but went through a apprentice scheme learning a broad basis of fabrication, took further education City and Guilds Mechanical Engineering, and Business Diploma, went into purchasing, then estimating for Hobal Engineering who specialised in Nuclear fabrications mostly for Sellafield, promoted to Estimating manager at 23yrs of age headed up a team of 5 estimators, left in 1981 to start KVR, built KVR up from scratch with two fellow partners, I was responsible for all commercial dealings bank liason and for the sales, estimating and purchasing KVR were engaged in the fabrication industry fabricating pressure vessels and pipework and skid modules took turnover up to 1.6million back in 2007, company closed in 2008. I then took a position at MC Integ Ltd as Sales Director, I am responsible for marketing, sales leads, website maintenance, e-shot flyers and search engine optimisation, turnover is between 4 to 5 million dealing with worldwide Clientele Specialties: Sales, estimating, fabrication of pressure vessels and piping
