Increase muscle, joint, tendon and ligament strength using your own body weight. Stretching- stretching your muscle correctly from the attachment point will increase your range of movement, increase energy levels and prevent injury. Yoga- includes body weight exercise that not only stretches your muscles but strengthens them too. Holding each pose strong will activate and strengthen the muscle, whilst the specific position of each pose will stretch the muscle. I have practiced yoga since I was 17years of age, and swear by it. Traditional Strength Training-for Body Building, including exercises using specific strength training techniques that increase muscle mass and Strength. Isolate each individual muscle group using free weights. Boxing/Kick-boxing training- I began boxing 10 years ago when I learnt the basic techniques to teach boxing for fitness, (Radical Fitness KIMAX). I have also had the opportunity to experience training with well known Boxing & MMA Champions, however, whilst I have learnt many different techniques from these professionals, I have also adopted my own Boxing style, which I apply and teach. My goal is to master the art of Kickboxing and MMA. Meditation- this component of training is most important as the mind is the control centre for your body. It's important to practice meditation to establish and maintain a strong connection between the mind and body. Meditation will increase the effectiveness of all other training styles.
