Kelly Slade

Since graduating from Warwick University with a Ba (Hons) in Theatre and Performance Studies in 2017, Kelly has worked as a production assistant with BAFTA nominated Director, Stephen Saunders on ‘War Above the Trenches’, a documentary aired on the Yesterday channel (2018). She has also worked with ASA Productions Ltd, Charterhouse Pictures Ltd, Sheringham Studios Ltd and History in the Making Ltd on various film projects across the UK. As Choreographer, Kelly professionally worked for Heritage Opera on their UK tour of ‘Carmen’. Other credits include Staged Right Stafford’s production of ‘The Wiz’ and Stafford Gatehouse Youth Theatre’s production of ‘The Little Mermaid’. Kelly is an active member of the BBC Writers room; her play, ‘You’re a Mystery, Monroe’ was shortlisted for the Kenneth Branagh Windsor Fringe Festival 2017 Award. Specialising in musical theatre, Kelly has performed in various regions across the UK. Credits include Audrey in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ (Warwick Arts Centre), Mrs Hudson in 'Holmes for Rent' (Edinburgh Festival) and Charlotte in ‘13 the Musical’ (Edinburgh Festival). She is now working as Head of Drama and a teacher of English at Great Wyrley Academy.
