Caring, compassionate Family Services Professional with over 15 years experience working with vulnerable families, youth and children (underemployment by Government, NGOs, private and residential care) and specialist expertise in dementia care, parenting skills development, child and adolescent development and individual and family life cycles. With a profound passion to further develop my career to support vulnerable families, I extended my knowledge base to include the following qualifications, Diploma of Professional Counselling, Bachelor of Dementia Care, Master of International and Community Development, and most recently, Certificate IV Child, Youth and Family Intervention. My 10 years plus experience in Integrated Family Services, Family Support, and Youth Engagement and Support has equipped me with an appreciation and understanding of what it takes to be successful. I am consciously aware that I need to be adaptable, observant, experienced and skilful so I can provide the best opportunity for families, youth and children.
