Kendra L. Walsh, PharmD, RPh is a current medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Prior to medical school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Rhode Island with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and a minor in Biological Sciences. She also received the Natural Medicines Recognition Award as well as the College of Pharmacy Academic Excellence Award. Kendra is a licensed pharmacist in the state of Rhode Island, and currently works as a per diem Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children’s Hospital. At the medical school, Kendra has experience in leading the Student Ambassadors, a group that organizes tours and assists the Office of Biomedical Advancement with their events as well as fundraising efforts. She also volunteers with Pathways to Medicine, a program designed to introduce high school students from the local area to careers in healthcare. Kendra is pursuing a Scholarly Concentration in Medical Education, with the focus on improving how pharmacy topics are taught at the medical school. Additionally, she is involved with several research projects with the Brown Department of Anesthesiology.
