Kenneth Evans

Competent, production-oriented and versatile, Ken Evans has over 25 years of varied technical, managerial and leadership experience. Skilled in all aspects of planning and project development, his areas of expertise include: procurement, underwriting, construction, budget, organization, personnel management, operations, scheduling, maintenance, and environmental compliance. Ken recently served as Commander for Air Force engineering organizations in both Iraq and Afghanistan supervising and managing 150-200 personnel at any given time. As Commander in Iraq, he was responsible for $35 million in planning, development and O & M activities. While in Afghanistan his responsibilities included overseeing 54 sites and managing $64 million in master planning, site development, construction and project management activities. Career Highlights:As a General Engineer with the U.S. Department of Energy, provided line management oversight to ensure cost and schedule estimates and analyses for environmental restoration, waste operations, and technology development activities and projects were developed according to professional cost and schedule estimating practices. Federal lead for a team that developed and implemented a Project Control System (PCS) for all work activities at the Nevada Test Site. Vice Chair and member of Clark County School District (CCSD) Bond Oversight Committee (BOC). Responsible for reviewing and providing technical, financial and program recommendations for execution of $905 million bond construction program. During tenure on the BOC, school district grew from the 10th largest to the 5th largest school district in the country.As a real estate development consultant, provided both technical guidance and project management expertise to complete 57 single-family homes for first time homebuyers. Total project development costs were $6.5 million. Underwrote and administered $1.25 million in loans, recoverable grants and grants.
