Kenneth Oliver

I am a Chartered Accountant and currently Assistant Director of Audit and Practice Monitoring at ICAS, where I lead and manage the regulatory monitoring function. I have developed and implemented initiatives to support firms in improving audit and practice quality; presented technical training courses; issued guidance publications; led monitoring visits to firms of varying sizes; developed new regulatory schemes; and delivered training to regulatory functions and government bodies of other countries, in Eastern Europe and Africa. Prior to joining ICAS, and upon graduating from The University of Strathclyde Law School in 2000, I was employed within the Assurance and Business Advisory Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, working primarily in the external audit division. I obtained experience in a wide range of business environments and industries, including financial services, public sector, manufacturing and retail sectors and property investment. In obtaining this experience I worked in a large number of global locations.
