I am a highly motivated technician in the fire protection industry. I have had the unusual opportunity of having installing as well as testing fire alarms, suppression ( FM-200, CO2, INTERGEN, HFC-227, HALON 1301, ECARO 25 just to name a few ), sprinkler systems ( wet, dry, pre-action, as well as wet and dry pilot deluge), AFFF( 3%, 5%, and AR ), incipient detection ( VESDA), as well as some experience with fire pumps. I am always willing to learn and am presently on the road to re-acquiring my NICET certifications in special hazards as well as fire alarm testing and inspection. I take my job very seriously as protecting life and invaluable artifacts is what I do. I have had the unique opportunity of installing systems that cover documents such as the Declaration of Independence to artifacts from the space programs at UDVAR HAZY air and space museum. I am proud of what I do and I enjoy making the world a safer place, building by building. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I consider myself a work in progress as I am always learning and enjoy learning.
