I am passionate about, and confident in working within the event sector and have gained invaluable experience over the passed 5+ years in the variety of roles in which I have worked in thus far in my career. I have worked in many roles including Fundraising and Event Coordinator at Multiple Sclerosis Society SA/NT. In this role I was given the opportunity to run their largest event the MS Mighty Swim, which runs over 24 hours. This included working on an event concept, strategies, project management, administration, communication, marketing, executing and managing the event from start to finish. My skills have enabled me to adapt to many different roles and take each opportunity with both hands, challenging myself to learn continuously and overcome any obstacles. In my career so far I worked for Adelaide Expo Hire as an Exhibition Sales Coordinator. Where I coordinated various sized events and which I loved. Main responsibilities is making sure the event runs smoothly from initial contact to conclusion of the event, mostly having multiple events at the same time. My Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design has also assisted whilst working on events and using my skills to create letterheads, logos, business cards and any additional advertising, including social media. Through extensive career experience, including Retail Management, Hospitality and Tourism, my skill set includes a sound knowledge in financial administration, team leaderships, client diversity, excellent communication, attention to detail, training, and time management. The next step in my career is to gain employment as an Event Coordinator/Manager I am actively seeking opportunities to assist in obtaining this goal.
