Having more than 25 years experience as ex Captain of Oil, Chemical Tankers and a Health, Safety, and Quality Superintendent; he has excellent knowledge of safety, Quality and Health procedures/systems inclusive of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISM Code. A Marine Health, Safety, Quality and Environment compliance expert. His keen interests in project development, implementation and sustainability with regards to Maritime Business and regulatory compliance have been honed during his work with reputed Shipping companies for more than 25 years. He has excellent experience with CDI/SIRE/USCG/PSC Pre-vetting Inspection and Preparation, Internal Audits (ISM/ISPS), Navigation Audits, Environmental Audits, Cargo Audits, Mooring / Anchoring Operations Audits, Ship Specific Safety inspection, Incident Investigation, on board and class room training, developing specific training modules. Ketan has also been involved in bringing simple, 3D visualization tools for big and diverse data, which provide virtual access to the places we cannot go, the things we cannot see, and answer questions we’ve only imagined; to the Shipping, Oil and Gas Industry and Ports. The world of big data, AI and digital twin is opening up to the traditional industries with innovative solutions every day. Being on the forefront of this innovation his goal is to provide cost effective, integrated, scalable solutions to harness the power of innovation without additional hardware costs. Some of his passions include Open Water SCUBA diving, A former inter-collegiate Chess player, Amateur Astronomer (Messier's Marathon), Tinkering with gadgets and new technology.
