Kevin Huber

My name is Kevin Huber and I am currently working as a Graduate Assistant in the Ashland University Athletic Department. While in this role, I will be leading marketing and promotional activations, assisting with ticketing, game operations, compliance, and facility management, as well as supervising our fall and spring interns. Prior to working as a Graduate Assistant, I spent the 2022 Spring Semester working as an intern in the AU Athletic Department, primarily focusing on game operations. At the conclusion of this internship, I was offered the opportunity to come back as a GA. I graduated from AU in 2022 with an undergraduate degree in Sport Management and a minor in Spanish. I am currently in classes for my MBA in Digital Marketing and will graduate with my master's degree in May 2023. Over the past four years, I have gained numerous experiences in the sport industry. I worked as a Marketing Brand Ambassador for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2021-2022 NFL season where I served as the frontline for all of the Pittsburgh Steelers' fan engagement activations and initiatives to help create the best possible experience for the fans. I have worked in the Pro Shop at the Ligonier Country Club where I gained valuable experience in inventory management, marketing, and event management. I have interned with the Greater Latrobe Athletic Office in Latrobe, PA, as well as the Ashland YMCA. I also have experience volunteering at the NFL Super Bowl LV Fan Experience in Tampa, Florida. These opportunities have given me experience and knowledge in different sectors of the sport industry. I have also worked as a waiter at Carol & Dave's Roadhouse for five summers. This has helped me develop communication and hospitality skills which will be very beneficial for me in the sport industry. Outside of the classroom and work environment, I served as the Vice President of the Sport Business Club. In addition to this, I was involved with the Honors Program, Delta Mu Delta, and Alpha Lambda Delta. I was on the club soccer team as well as a member of the club golf team.
