I am currently a Criminal Investigator for the Insurance Fraud Bureau of MA, assigned to the Provider Fraud Unit. My assignment is to oversee criminal investigations and prosecutions in the Provider Fraud Unit and handle complex cases involving allegations of insurance fraud as it pertains to medical providers and complex ring and group activity. I have been with the IFB for 19 years and have worked on various task forces and working groups with local, state and federal agencies in the investigation and prosecution of insurance fraud cases. Prior to working for the Insurance Fraud Bureau I worked as a Lead Investigator and Senior Special Investigator for over 14 years with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and Metlife Insurance Company. In addition I have over 29 years experience in several areas of public service including Police, Fire and EMS. I have obtained the professional designation of Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) from the International Association of Special Investigation Units. I am a three term past president and board member of the New England Association of Insurance Fraud Investigators (NEAIFI), Board of Directors - Southern New England Brotherhood Ride, Past President of several local civic groups and non-profit organizations.
