For the past 22 years, I have been helping individuals, families and small business owners with their financial planning goals and objectives. I offer fee-based, fiduciary-standard investment management services as well as a customized, tailored approach to developing financial plans for my clients. A special, niche practice area in my practice is helping families navigate the complex area of college planning and financial aid. This is a crucial financial planning area, yet one that doesn't get enough attention. I am passionate about helping families solve their college funding concerns and avoiding unnecessary debt and financial troubles later on. Due to my experience and expertise in college financial planning, I am often consulted by other financial planners on this topic for their clients. I hold the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation and in the past, held the CDFA™ (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) designation. I currently hold the Series 26, 7, & 66 Securities Licenses. Outside the office, I was a member and past Board Director of the Rhode Island chapter of the Financial Planning Association for 20 years, a member and past Board Director of the Association of Divorce Financial Planners (VP continuing education 4 years) and a past member of the RI Mediators Association. In addition, from 2001- 2018, I've wrote a personal finance column for the Newport Daily News.
