Khalid Musa

I started as an exploration geologist at MANAGEM mining company block 15 GABGABA North Sudan gold project. Doing mostly field work I was a part of the exploration team responsible of mapping, sample collecting and drilling. I was responsible of a team of workers and drilling technicians during the RC (Reverse circulation) phase of the exploration, planning, organizing and executing the drilling plans in accordance with the company policy, the drilling phase included RC drilling using the MUSTANG drilling machines, I worked with various drilling technicians throughout the RC phase which was very helpful in enriching my drilling experience both geologically and administration wise, that included doing daily and weekly reports about the drilling process and following up and monitoring the progress of the drilling very closely. after 2 years in exploration geology I became more interested in database management and mining so I started a 5 years career in the mining department doing database management and then modeling and resource estimation.
