I am a recent postgraduate law student who is seeking graduate job opportunities to gain work experience towards qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales. Having worked for three internship terms during university at Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP and Rajah & Tann Myanmar Company Limited, I have acquired valuable experience in negotiation processes, contract drafting, review and amendment. I have profound research skills of which I have demonstrated by comprehending mostly but not limited to Singapore and Myanmar legislations and regulations carefully to select relevance, gather and submit organised notes for lawyers' review, wrote informative intel and client briefs on new laws thereby, exhibiting attention-to-detail and confidence in written skills. With the experience of working in an extremely fast-paced top Singapore law firm, I have demonstrated quick understanding of objectives and completing tasks flexibly between urgent works given. My passion for legal practice has influenced my Pro-bono work in which I have worked as a Student volunteer at Leeds City Council to help the clients with their claims for welfare benefit rights. I have displayed great oral communication skills and most exactitude at the workplace. Moreover, I have acted as a Vice President of Leeds Myanmar Cultural Association to showcase utmost proactivity and organizational skills that came with expectation for creativity and innovative mind to maintain the association.
