Kiera Batten

I am an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist, graduating from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours Nutrition & Dietetics) and Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science). I have extensive experience in paediatric and adult clinical dietetics, with specialist areas of expertise including inborn errors of metabolism, ketogenic and modified atkins diet, type 1 diabetes (MDI and insulin pumps), enteral and parenteral nutrition support, growth faltering and malnutrition, and feeding difficulties. A strong background in exercise and fitness, as well as a passion to empower patients complements my skill set. I provide individual nutrition assessment and dietary counselling for patients using best practice evidence and principles of family-centred care.
